Monteverde Cloud Forest Odyssey 

3 Day/2 night visit with guided walk in the Reserve

Suggested stay is 2–3 nights.

Morning pick-up by service guide at your San José hotel for a 4–1/2 hour drive to Monteverde. The first 2–1/2 hours are on the Pan-American Highway and the last 2 hours are on a winding gravel road.  Arrive at Monteverde hotel in time for lunch on your own. (Checkout time in Costa Rica is 2 p.m., so you may have to wait to check into your room.) Dinner and overnight at Monteverde Lodge or alternative. Following day, join morning excursion (of up to 10 people) to Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve accompanied by Monteverde Guide from the Reserve or by a Costa Rica Expeditions Service Guide.

Return to your hotel at mid-day. Afternoon on your own. After lunch on the third day, drive approximately 4–1/2 hours back to San José.

Includes: Round trip transportation San José-Monteverde, two nights lodging at Monteverde Lodge or alternative, six meals, Reserve entrance fee and Monteverde Guide from the Reserve or Service Guide the morning of Day 2, hotel transfers. Taxes and entrance fees in effect at the time of booking are included unless otherwise specified.

Extra day - with Trip to Reserve and Butterfly Garden

Includes: 3 meals, one night lodging at Monteverde Lodge or alternative, morning guided tour of the Reserve, afternoon tour of Butterfly Garden.
