Guatemala Extended Tours

Glimpse of Guatemala - A wonderful 4 day, 3 night glimpse of some of the best of Guatemala. Beginning and ending in Guatemala City, this tour includes a trip to Antigua and Lake Atitlan with an overnight stay in Chichicastenango and a visit to the famous Indian market there.  Departure: Tuesdays or Fridays.  The per person price, based upon double occupancy, is $260.

Weekend in Guatemala - A brief but memorable tour of 4 days and 3 nights. A visit to Chichicastenango, Lake Atitlan and Antigua with the first and last night in Guatemala City and the  other night at the Mayan Inn in Chichicastenango.  Departure: Saturday or Wednesday.  The per person price, based upon double occupancy, is $338.

Colorful Guatemala - A 7 day, 6 night offering of most of the best of Guatemala! Tours of Guatemala City; a visit to the most interesting sites in Antigua; a trip to Lake Atitlan and the Maya village of Santiago; Quetzaltenango, the archaeological site of El Baul and the ruins of La Democracia. The first and last two nights in Guatemala City.  Departure: Sunday.  The per person price, based upon double occupancy, is $588.

The Highland Maya - An extended version of the Guatemala Sampler, with additional free time in Chichicastenango and Guatemala City and an excursion to Santiago, one of the most picturesque Maya villages on Lake Atitlan. This 4 day, 3 night tour features 1 night at the Mayan Inn in Chichicastenango, 1 night a Del Lago Hotel on Lake Atitlan and 2 nights at the hotel of your choice in Guatemala City.  Departure: Saturday or Wednesday.  The per person price, based upon double occupancy, is $391.

Highland Wonderland - An extension of the Highlands tour, this tour is a 6 day, 5 night trip with overnight stops at Lake Atitlan, Chichicastenango and Antigua. The first and last night’s lodging is in Guatemala City. This tour offers a great deal of both sightseeing and free time. Wednesday to Monday.  The per person price, based upon double occupancy, is $502.

Guatemala Markets Tour - A comprehensive 7 day/6 night tour of the Highlands including not only Chichicastenango, Panajachel (Lake Atitlan) and Antigua, but Quetzaltenango. Using these as bases it is possible to experience infrequently visited markets in Solola, San Francisco El Alto, Almolonga, Zunil and Totonicapan. No meals included.  Departure: Wednesday.  The per person price, based upon double occupancy, is $686.

All the above tours feature daily American breakfasts and transfers. First and last nights of each tour are in Guatemala City at the Guatemala Marriott.  Any of our other Guatemala City hotels can be substituted for the Marriott at appropriate additional cost or savings.
