DAY 1: After arriving at Tocumen Airport in Panama City, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you in transferring to the Miramar Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Panama City.

DAY 2: Today you'll explore Panama City and get a taste of the history and culture of this important Central American city. You'll visit Old Panama, or Panama Viejo, where ruins of the first capital are reminders of the early Spanish settlement. Your tour then takes you on to Casco Viejo, or Colonial Panama, the historic center of today's capital. Museums, cathedrals, and breathtaking views of Panama City are the highlights of this area. DAY 1: Fly to Tocumen Airport in Panama City where one of our staff will meet you and take you to the Gamboa Rainforest Resort.

DAY 2: Wildlife viewing is best in the early morning hours, so after a visit to our breakfast buffet, a trained, bilingual naturalist guide will take you the marina where you'll board a waiting boat for your tour of Lake Gatun. Lake Gatun was formed as a result of the damming of the Chagres River during the construction of the Panama Canal.
