Snapper, barracuda, grouper, jacks, wahoo, mackerel, tarpon and many other tropical species are found on the reef right offshore the island. The flats around Ambergris hold bonefish, tarpon, permit and barracuda. We have packages for the novice, the light tackle fisherman and the hardcore flyfisherman! A half-day reef or flats fishing trip is $250 to $300; a full day is $350 to $400, 1 or 2 persons. Belize Offshore — Out of Ambergris Caye we offer fully equipped offshore fishing. This consistently tournament winning team brings with them all the best of the offshore experience of Belize. One-half day from Ambergris Caye is $550 to $650 a full day is $750 to $900, 1 to 4 persons. Blackbird Caye A special offering for fly and light tackle fishing enthusiasts! Everything from the permit and bonefish on the flats of the offshore atolls; to the snapper, tarpon and snook of the creeks and mangroves surrounding the flats; to the barracuda, grouper, snapper and other species along the outer reefs.. Including transfers, lodging, meals, boat and guide for morning & afternoon trips, two fishermen per boat. Not included is any air, alcoholic beverages or items of a personal nature. Please Note - You must bring own equipment. Deep Sea Fishing is available at additional fee. Ask for details.
