Blackbird Caye Resort — An ecotourism resort and marine research center located on a remote private jungle island. Everything from encounters with the wild dolphins of Blackbird’s lagoon to viewing the exotic native birds to excursions to the famous Blue Hole. All packages are per person, in US dollars, based on double occupancy

Single supplement is an additional 30% of snorkel package rates.

Children 6 and under are free, 7-11 half price when sharing a room with parents. Children 12 and older are full price. No discounts for certified divers under age of 12.

All packages include airport reception, boat transfers, lodging, meals, and use of hammocks and kayaks.

• Dive package includes three dives per day, air, tanks, weights and belts. Other equipment available for rental.

• Snorkel package includes two guided snorkel trips per day

• Fishing package Includes boat with guide for morning and afternoon trips, two fishermen per boat.  Fishing gear and tackle is not provided.  Deep Sea Fishing is available at additional fee. Ask for details.

• Fish/Dive or Fish/Snorkel Combo includes three days of diving or snorkeling plus three days of fishing.

Not Included:

Package prices do not include airfare, bar drinks (soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are included), gratuities, dive equipment rental, $40 marine reserve fee for the Blue Hole or hotel tax of $4.50/person/night. These charges cannot be pre-paid and are collected on the island the day before departure.

Please note: Transfers are on Saturday & Wednesday only. The transfer boat departs the Belize Tourism Village Marina between 3:00 and 4:00 PM. Note that flights must arrive at Belize International by 2:00PM. From the marina it is approximately 1 1/4 hour scenic boat ride to the island. Departure from the island is approximately 8:00 A.M. Flights may depart any time after 1PM.

If traveling any day other than specified transfer day, a special air charter must be reserved at an additional cost of $285 one-way for two passengers.

Accommodations are:

Standard Cabanas: Beach front, air-conditioned cabanas with private porch, two queen/double beds (a limited number of rooms have one king bed) and private bath.

Deluxe Cabana (units 11, 12 & 14): Each suite has a private bedroom with king bed, ceiling fan and air-conditioning unit. The spacious living room has chairs, loveseat and table as well as mini-refrigerator plus air-conditioning and ceiling fan. Large bathroom has shower with additional storage area.

Triplex (3 private rooms) and Duplex (2 private rooms): Private rooms are air-conditioned with with two double beds per room, private bath and shared porch. Prices are $100.00 less per person for 7 night packages & $50.00 less per person for 3 & 4 night packages.

Drinking fresh juice and fruity tropical cocktails is the way they cool down in the Caribbean shade. Along with a number of recreational activities like volleyball and billiards, they offer exciting day-trips to other popular Belizean attractions.

Manta Reef Resort — A pristine and secluded palm-studded island located on Glover's Atoll in Belize, one of the most spectacular, untouched reef systems in the Caribbean. Located some 30 miles from the mainland, Glover's Atoll is a UN World Heritage Site and Belizean National Park. Manta Resort offers world-class scuba diving that is virtually unparalleled in the Caribbean.

Because of the atoll's protected status, you will be amazed by the abundant marine life - grouper, moray, colorful queen trigger fish and large parrot fish abound. Majestic manta rays are frequently seen; enjoy encounters with dolphins, eagle rays and sea turtles. Incredible wall diving is a stone's throw from the resort, with a 2,000-foot wall right in front.

If you're not a diver, snorkel on our guided trips around the 80-square-mile atoll, or in our own crystal clear lagoon within the resort. Other activities include kayaking and excellent fly-fishing and trolling.

For those seeking a peaceful respite, relax in your private hammock on the porch of your own mahogany cabaña, or soak up some sun on our white sand beaches, cooled by the Caribbean trade breezes. Please Note:

• All guests must arrive Belize City by 2 PM on Saturday. Delays which result in missing our transfer boat departure to the island will result in additional expense which is the responsibility of the guest.

• We depart the island for the return trip to the mainland on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. Please do not make your return air reservations for earlier than 2 PM.

• Our regular dive schedule is 2 morning dives and 1 afternoon dive.

• Dive Package: 3 dives per day and 1 night dive per week; Snorkel Package: 2 boat snorkel trips per day; Fishing package: 5 and ½ days of fishing.

These package prices includes 16 dives for Sat-Sat, 8 dives for Sat-Wed, 5 dives for Wed-Sat. The full week package includes one night dive and a day trip to the Blue Hole on Lighthouse Reef (weather permitting).

Included are breakfast, lunch, dinner, hors d'oeuvres, and snacks.

The  prices are per person based on double occupancy in standard rooms. All guest rooms are air-conditioned and elegantly appointed.

Private cabanas and single rooms are available for an additional charge.

Included in the  package price are boat transfers to the island on Wednesdays and Saturdays and airport transfers to and from Belize City.

Equipment rental, instruction, and Nitrox tanks are not included in the package prices.

TIL offers a wide range of species and fishing methods: bonefish, permit, tarpon, barracuda, jacks, snapper, mackerel, grouper and a dozen other species; flats, trolling, deep jigging, etc. Whatever the choice of species or method the results are extraordinary!
