Everything about the 5 day/4 night Mayan Adventurer excursion is special at Banana Bank. Arrival at the lodge is via, time permitting, the Belize Zoo, then the adventure really begins. The package includes - A visit to the Butterfly farm, then either Cahal Pech or Xunantunich, the most visited Mayan Ruins in Belize. At Cahal Pech you will be able to see the onsite Museum. Blancaneaux Lodge

Offering a welcome to those seeking an unusual adventure and an exotic escape from the material world, Francis Ford Coppola's comfortable jungle lodge will refresh and renew!

Adventures abound in the surrounding 300 square mile Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve and beyond.  Some of the most extensive Mayan ruins in Central America are a short drive away.  Hike or horseback ride in the steps of the ancient Maya or explore pristine rivers by canoe.

 Blancaneaux is located just outside the western Belize town of San Ignacio in the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Preserve. For an additional fee we an arrange transport from Belize international airport by land or via “Sofia”, the lodge’s private twin-engine aircraft.  Flights and also be arranged from Flores International Airport in Guatemala to Belize international then on to the Lodge.  Transportation arrangements must be made in advance at the time of your reservation.

Riverfront Cabanas feature an expansive wrap-around deck that ensures a dramatic view of the Privassion River.  Elegantly themed with native art and local textiles, each cabana offers a queen-size bed and hand-painted tile bath.

Your Belize adventure begins at Blancaneaux Lodge in the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve. Enjoy three nights in a Riverfront Cabana overlooking the falls and pools of Privassion Creek. Welcome cocktails are served upon arrival and all meals, featuring produce from the resort's enormous organic garden, are included during your stay.

Spend a full day touring the Mayan site of Caracol with a picnic lunch. Here, you can visit the Rio Frio Cave or swim in the Rio On Pools and falls. We also venture by vehicle and canoe two miles deep into Barton Creek Cave, a sacred site once used by the ancient Maya as a burial and ceremonial center. Complimentary use of mountain bikes, hiking trails, and the ‘Hot Pool’ (or hot tub) is offered during your stay.

duPlooy's Jungle Lodge

Situated on a bend in the Macal River beneath a high bluff in one of the most beautiful spots in Belize, duPlooy's is the perfect place for quiet relaxation or to use as a base to explore inland Belize.

duPlooy's is a small jungle lodge, where visitors feel relaxed in our friendly surroundings. There are plenty of activities right on the premises - swimming in the waters of the Macal River, relaxing on a beautiful sandy beach, canoeing, horseback riding or visiting the adjacent Belize Botanic Gardens. Bird watching can be done in a civilized fashion right from duPlooy's deck with its 200 feet canopied walkway' from the bird blind in Belize Botanic Gardens, walking leisurely about the property, and on guided hikes. Luba Hati

Situated just south of Seine Bight Village on the Placencia Peninsula in Belize is a small deluxe hotel, Luba Hati (House of the Moon in Garifuna).  Luba Hati is an upscale resort on the Placencia peninsula. Reminiscent of a private villa and tucked away on a tranquil beach, it is secluded and yet only a fifteen-minute ride into Placencia and all of the activities that abound there. Luba Hati is characterized by unique architecture combining classic stucco and tile, and utilizing exotic, local materials like mahogany, xericote and gnarled milady wood. The main building wraps around a tropical garden and overlooks the turquoise Caribbean. The public areas, restaurant and guest rooms showcase a collection of ethnic and tribal art hand-picked by the owners from all over the world. Adjoining the beach is a massage and sauna area in a separate beach house. All these elements combine to create a striking and luxurious retreat where guests can unwind and relax. Rum Point Inn

On wonderfully isolated Placentia Peninsula is the delightful Rum Point Inn, a tropical resort specializing in relaxation. Away from the hustle and bustle of the larger resorts, this is a great place to get away from it all! Tours are offered to the nearby ruins of Lubaantun and Nim Li Punit, the rain forests and the Cockscomb Basin Jaguar Reserve, also to the reefs and cayes for diving and fishing. Turtle Inn

Francis Ford Coppola’s new Placentia resort is the sister hotel of his inland property, Blacaneaux Lodge. The charming beachfront, thatch-roofed cabana resort offers a simple but unique retreat.
