Tranquility Bay Resort

The newest property on Ambergris Caye,  Tranquility Bay Resort is a unique and very special resort to be enjoyed by visitors and friends of Belize. Preserving and protecting the amazing environment and highlighting the charm and character of the Belizean people are important goals of this Caribbean wonder.

The resort is situated on twelve acres on the Caribbean Sea with one of finest beaches in all of Belize. The warm, gin clear sea in front of our beach is that beautiful aquamarine color that only seems to exist in the Caribbean. Tranquility Bay lies just inside the magnificent Belize Barrier Reef, the longest unbroken living reef on earth.

Tranquility Bay Resort is the only resort on Ambergris Caye that is actually located inside the new Bacalar Chica National Marine Park and the United Nations World Heritage Site. World class fishing, sailing, snorkeling and diving are all at our front door. And, if relaxation is your goal, Tranquility Bay is the perfect place to stick your toes in the warm sand and simply watch the world go by.

Captain Morgan’s — A picturesque resort with thatched-roof casitas and pool sheltered in the palms on a secluded beach north of San Pedro.

Holiday House — A two-story hotel with veranda and white sandy beaches. Located in the heart of San Pedro. Air-conditioning is available.

Journey’s End — An isolated, full service hotel. All water sports, plus tennis and pool with swim-up bar. Upgraded accommodations and air-conditioning are available.

Mata Chica Beach Resort—Lovely private air-conditioned bungalows on a beautiful beach.

Paradise Resort Hotel — The classic Ambergris Caye resort! A variety of accommodations are available.

Ramon’s Village — Lovely thatch roofed cabanas on the outskirts of the village. Outdoor bar alongside the pool. Suites and a/c available.

Sun Breeze Hotel — An air-conditioned Spanish-style hotel on the south end of the village. Restaurant, bar, pool and dive shop on site.

Tropica Beach Resort—Oceanfront rooms each with a/c, ceiling fans and open porches overlooking the Caribbean.

Victoria House — A nice resort with individual casitas with thatched roofs, air-conditioned standard and deluxe rooms and a fun beachside bar.

Hotel/Diving Packages - Including 3 nights double occupancy accommodations, air transfers, taxes and service charges.  Diving packages include two days of two tank dives.  Our discount airfares are available, but are not included.

Single and Triple rates are available as well.

Ambergris Caye Apartments/Condos

AquaMarina Suites - Overlooking the Caribbean Sea, AquaMarina is an all Luxury Suite Resort, one of the newest on our island.  The hotel is located downtown on the beach. For your accommodation we offer 22 Oceanfront Suites and 9 Junior Suites. Single and Double $165 + 9%.

Banana Beach - Veranda of Balcony rooms - $114; Courtyard Suites - $138; 1 Bedroom, ocean front - $190;  Deluxe, ocean front - $215; 2 Bedroom, ocean front - $329;  3 Bedroom, ocean front - $443;  4 Bedroom, ocean front - $557.  Plus 9 % hotel tax.

Banyan Bay — New air-conditioned, beachfront apartments with 2 two bedroom, 2 baths, Jacuzzi tub, full kitchens, daily maid service, TV and a waterfall pool with bar. One mile south of San Pedro.  The single or double occupancy pool view room rate is $250 per night. The triple rate is $280. Tax and service charge of 9% is additional.

Blue Tang Inn - Located on a sandy Caribbean beach, this fourteen-unit inn is just two quiet blocks north of downtown San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, where you’ll discover Belize’s warm, friendly people and many great shops and restaurants.  $135 to $ 185, plus 9% tax.

Caribbean Villas — One and two bedroom condominiums offering all modern conveniences including daily maid service, fresh water pool and private verandas with oceanfront views. Air-conditioning available.  Per Night - 1 bedroom suite(1 or 2 persons), $98; 1 bedroom suite with loft (1 to 4 persons), $180; up to 6 persons, $270.  Hotel tax of 9% to be paid at checkout. Minimum stay is 4 nights.

Paradise Condominiums — A variety of beachfront condo units are available, fully furnished, with pool. Located just north of the village, within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and bars. Per Night - From $160 to $175 for a 1 bedroom (1 or 2 persons); $195 to $210 for a 2 bedroom (up to 4), plus 9% hotel tax.

Belize Yacht Club — An apartment-style property located on the beach south of San Pedro. One bedroom suites with queen-size sleeper in living room, fully equipped kitchen and air-conditioning.  $165 to $185 daily for a one bedroom, $320 to $390 for a two bedroom plus 9% hotel tax.

The Palms - A 1 bedroom is $188, single of double, a 2 bedroom is $228, up to 4 persons, both per night plus 19% tax and service charge.

Xanadu Island Resort - Double occupancy Studio, $120; 1 Bedroom, $130; Loft, $160 to $180. Two bedroom (sleeps 2 to 4), $240 to $280; 3 Bedroom (sleeps 3 to 6) $310 to $330.  All plus 9% tax.
